Vivek Agnihotri reveals Bollywood thinks the audience is ‘dumb’, says The Kashmir Files actors were treated equally on sets

Mumbai: At a musical event titled ‘Sounds of The Kashmir Files’, Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri on Friday took a dig at the Bollywood industry. He said that Bollywood thinks that the audience is ‘dumb’ and everything should be dumbed-down. The Filmmaker added that the manifesto of his production company is that the audience is more intelligent than him.
Vivek said that his movie, ‘The Kashmir File’ has brought a social change in society. Referring to Kashmir Pandits, ‘The Kashmir Files’ director stated that the entire community is now healing and separatist leader Yasin Malik also accepted his involvement in terror activities.

The Filmmaker further added that not only India, but the entire world is now talking about the genocide of Kashmir Pandits. He further added that filmmakers should have full confidence n the skills of actors. He said that on the sets of ‘The Kashmir Files’, all actors were treated equally.

On Friday , the makers of of the blockbuster ‘The Kashmir Files’ came up with a musical event titled ‘Sounds of The Kashmir Files’ to relive the memories attached to the landmark movie. The event was held at Opera House, Mumbai on May 13.

‘The Kashmir Files’ Director Vivek with cast members Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar attended the event. Musicians and singers who were part of the film‘s music album wer also present at the event. The movie has now ben released on OTT platform, Zee5.
