The price of gas dropped 10 cents to $5.35 a gallon on Aug. 5, 2022.

The price of gas dropped 10 cents to $5.35 a gallon on Aug. 5, 2022.
The price of regular gasoline dropped another 10 cents Friday to $5.35 cents a gallon.
On July 26, it dropped from $5.60 to $5.45 a gallon.
A week earlier, it went from $5.75 to $5.60.
Prices have been dropping steadily since they reached a record high of $6.49 a gallon on June 15.
On June 21, after the Gas Tax Relief Act suspended certain fuel taxes and surcharges for six months, the price fell to $6.30 a gallon.
