Nothing is set to launch its first smartphone; the Nothing phone (1) as part of its launch event tonight. The event which is being held in London, will kick off at 8:30 pm today. Nothing has already revealed some key specifications of its first smartphone, before the offical launch.

You will be able to livestream the Nothing phone (1) launch event via the company’s website. As of now, there is no YouTube launch link for the event. Interested users will only be able to follow the launch event on the Nothing website.

Nothing phone (1): Everything we know so far

The Nothing phone (1) is expected to feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 G+ processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Carl Pei has suggested that the smartphone will feature a unique design language that will also extend to the software aspect, with NothingOS, the company’s own Android 12-based skin.

The Nothing phone (1) will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. As per some reports, the phone will be produced locally which could control the costs. The device is expected to come with upper midrange smartphone specifications.

The Nothing phone (1) could be launched at around 500 Euros which translates to around Rs 41,519. The smartphone will come with three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
