Xiaomi’s gaming brand, Black Shark, has announced a partnership with F1 Infosolutions to provide repair, warranty and help-desk support services in India. The company on Friday said that following the agreement, the Black Shark service network will focus on coverage, quality and availability of spares in the country.
According to an official press release, the partnership will provide users access to a network of 100 walk-in centers that the company claimed will be strategically located at retail destinations for easy accessibility. The centers have been chosen basis the feedback from Black Shark’s fans in the current round of expansion, it claimed. The company further said that it will also offer a guaranteed 1-hour turnaround time for repairs, as well as complimentary pickup and drop-off services for all Black Shark 2 devices.
In a press statement, David Li, General Manager at Black Shark India, said: “At Black Shark, we are committed to deliver the best gaming and service experience to our users. We have committed significant internal resources to keep a close eye on speed and quality of resolution offered to our users. Our team and partners are working round-the-clock to ensure that we are stocked with spares to provide users with the best service possible, always”.
Xiaomi launched its Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone in India last May following its release in China a few weeks earlier. The device offers a multitude of gaming-centric features, including the Fast Finger and Master Touch functionalities that improve touch latency for a better gaming experience. It also features Liquid Cooling 3.0 to keep the thermals in check during intense gaming sessions
